In 1991, Ven Dhyani Ywahoo and Rev. Margie Joy Walden travelled to Madrid, Spain to attend a meeting with Queen Sofia of Spain. Geraldine Lewis and Marysol Gonzalez arranged this meeting to discuss indigenous peoples’ perspectives on the upcoming Quinto Centenario. The discussions were very productive and important language was changed that acknowledged indigenous perspectives. In 2015, Geraldine Lewis moved from Spain back to the USA. Rev. Margie Joy Walden welcomed her home. The work of peace and healing for all continues.<\/p>\n
