Weaving Compassion Art Booth (All Day)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This living art project seeks to engage people of all ages and backgrounds by collecting messages of compassion created by individuals visiting the booth during the festival. It is part community art installation and part reservoir of compassionate messages. At the booth, participants will be invited to “make one or take one” of the cards to inspire and offer compassion. The cards are 100% recycled, 30% post-consumer waste business card-size paper. Water colors, brushes, and pens will be available to create individual expressions of compassion. People visiting the booth will be asked if they would like to make some art and write a compassionate message to themselves, others, and\/or the community.<\/p>\n

Sacred Sound Bath<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Do you enjoy a mid day siesta? Ever had a power nap into the cosmos? Give yourself the gift of this sacred sound bath and visualization journey into bliss. Maylise will guide you to a deep state of relaxation for an opportunity to connect to the deepest and wisest part of you, your inner healing intelligence! She adds an imaginative and creative twist to the experience with some playful movement to release tension and relax your nervous system before settling into the spaciousness of her sound bath. Bring your open mind and heart to start the day off in the vortex of ease, peace, and flow!<\/p>\n

Maylise Urrutia is a dynamic creator of thought provoking experiences that illuminate the relationship to all things. With her 27 years of experience in performing arts and movement, 15 years of yoga practice, 200 RYT, 10 years in mediation practice, years of training and designing in transformational work and workshop facilitation, she creates experiences for people to embody and express themselves authentically and creatively. She is a master connector and leans on her strength of humor and love. She has facilitated and coached organizations such as The United Nations, UNHCR in Guatemala, Seventh Generation, and Mindbloom where she is currently guiding and coaching integration with psychedelic therapy. Maylise believes that through understanding our bodies, we understand our lives and can truly embody our whole selves.<\/p>\n
