A single word ripples out, vibrating with healing power.
One Word Sawalmem is a story of personal transformation related to a single untranslatable word from Pom’s ancestral language — a word offered to humanity as medicine to heal our relationship with the Earth.
Join us on Friday July 24th, 5-6pm EDT for a private screening of this wonderful film, including Zoom introduction session. Following the film, there will be a sharing circle on Zoom with the directors.
One Word Sawalmem was selected to film festivals around the world. But when our plans to travel to all of them were abruptly halted by the Shelter-in-Place orders, we found an online audience hungry our film and ready for meaningful conversation. We have found that people have:
- a renewed desire to engage with nature in a more intimate way.
- a recognition of the importance of spiritual fortitude.
- an openness to receive guidance about a new way forward.
For this reason, Pom and Natasha are happy to be hosting a series of online gatherings to share the film, answer questions and engage in rich dialogue.
