A special presentation by World Peace Sanctuary Representatives will be held on Friday afternoon at the Sunray 40th Annual Native American Elders and Youth Gathering
“We are deeply appreciative for this ceremony and ready to participate in full support with myriad beings. Joining our hearts and minds together, we are transforming and joining with our planetary relatives. We are transforming any obstacles to remembrance to the human family as one.”
~ Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo
Offering from Fumi Johns, Executive Director, World Peace Sanctuary:
“On this auspicious occasion highlighting Earth Awareness, we would like to gift a Peace Pole which carries the message May Peace Prevail On Earth. This message and prayer for peace was founded in Japan as a universal call for peace to prevail on earth after the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We would be honored if you would accept the Peace Pole as we gather to celebrate this 40th ceremonial year in service to world peace and reconciliation.
The Peace Pole Dedication ceremony often includes a World Peace Prayer and Flag Ceremony inviting guests to invoke peace in all nations. We hope you will accept this gift and dedicate a Peace Pole to join the sacred network of tens of thousands of Peace Poles planted as healing acupunctures of the earth.”
The World Peace Prayer & Flag Ceremony
Below are some photos of various versions of the World Peace Prayer & Flag Ceremony
During the Ceremony, a prayer is sent in unison to each of the 193 nations with a special prayer for all the indigenous nations at the conclusion. This is an interactive ceremony and we need audience participation as we come together in unity for one peaceful planet.
