Where to Stay

The Sunray Peace Village is located in Lincoln, near Bristol, Vermont. Known primarily for its beautiful natural surroundings, Lincoln is situated at the foot of Mount Abraham, and near the headwaters of the New Haven River.

The Sunray Peace Village has camping facilities for our event attendees (bring your own tent). There are also many campgrounds and B & Bs nearby. Camping at the Peace Village during Elders and Youth Gathering this year is offered by donation. Pre-registration is required, and Health and Wellness Safety Guidelines will be in effect. Overnight Program Camping at the Sunray Peace Village

As a Retreat Center, all campers are invited to participate in the Sunray daily and weekly spiritual practices. During the Elders and Youth Gathering, practices will be held in the Arbor each morning. There will be opportunity to learn the Dance of the Four Directions, a slow moving meditation dance, honoring the medicine and spiritual energies of the four directions – east, south, west and north.

Program camping is available starting from the day before program begins, until the day after program ends. Please arrive before gates close at 9:00pm ET.

Peace Village Volunteers are welcome to camp for additional days before and after the Elders and Youth Gathering. Apply Here

Tent Sites

There are 35 campsites on the land, many shaded. There are community fire pits and picnic tables. Bring your own camping gear including tent, tarp, cooking equipment, cooler. be prepared for a wide variety of green mountain weather! The nearest ice, basic groceries, propane is approx. 2 – 3 miles away in Lincoln or Jerusalem.

Camping guidelines and reminders:
– open fires in the community fire pits only
– quiet after 10:00pm
– no alcohol, drugs, guns or pets
– no tenting in wooded areas

What to Bring:
– Camping Gear (tent, tarp, sleeping mat, sleeping bag)
– Rainwear and warm jacket
– Food, stove, mess kit, cooking equipment (unless purchasing meals)

Cabins
Our small seasonal cabins are reserved for caretakers, Elders and ministers.

Children’s Playground

We do our best to create a safe and loving environment where children can grow, learn, and be happy. We have swings, a slide, basketball net, and plenty of space to run and play. Children must be supervised.

East & West Bathhouses

Women’s, men’s and all gender bathrooms are equipped with flush toilets, hot and cold water in sinks and showers.

Camper Dishwashing and Laundry

Attached to the East Bathhouse is an outdoor sink and counter used for washing dishes. Also attached is a laundry room.

Community Hall

The Community Hall is a large and rustic room. Phone and WiFi are available seasonally, on the porch. The kitchen is reserved for staff use only.

Very Limited Trailer/Camper Sites
There are no service hook-ups. Please pre-register.

When you arrive, please check in at the registration tent, or with our onsite Caretaker who will direct you to your camping area and help you get settled in.

Program Camping Rates (not applicable during the Elders and Youth Gathering).
Donations for camping are welcome.

• Individual camping rates: $25.00/night, $120.00/week, $375/month.
  “Individual”: 1 adult or 1 adult and child(ren) 14 and under, in a single tent
• Tent rates: $40/night, $180/week, $550/month.
  “Tent”: 2 or more adults (15 & above pay the adult rate), Children 14 & under are free.
• Native American Campers – Traditional offerings are welcome
