Through heartfelt stories and teachings he offers people of all backgrounds a rare opportunity to explore the meaning these Copper Scrolls have for ourselves and our planet.
This class is a deep immersion. First students learn. Then they may contribute to the research that this precious Elder has gathered over 42 years on these ancient scripts from his Elders, the Ancients and his work as a Spiritual Scientist.
These scrolls hold a Universal Language system and reveal knowledge and technology from ancient wisdom. They are passed along in each generation and so too are the oral teachings that go with them. The complex ideas and stories that are represented in the images illuminate the relationship between us, the earth and the cosmos.
Understanding our relationships with the cosmos grows ever more important in these times. As Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo, Spiritual Director of Sunray, says, “There is a song arising in our hearts as a community of human beings sharing and co-creating an environment. The song is of planetary peace, planetary cooperation. It is calling each of us to transform conflicting emotions, to reveal the inherent beatitude.”

Bio
David Sanipass (Lone Bear) Sanipass was born on the mid coast of Maine. David’s family lived traditionally following the harvest of potatoes, wood, & blueberries up and down the eastern part of the state. They lived simply and well using traditional skills, hard work, & a sense of humor. His Grandfather told him many stories as they worked by the ocean digging clams or collecting sea weed. At night he would make flutes & baskets by candle light with them. He learned the sacred wisdom stories, songs and chants that have been passed down for generations.
