GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the great power of people and organizations to transform the world. Sunray Meditation Society and Peace Village invites you to participate in this celebration of generosity and reciprocity!
The Cycle of Reciprocity is a foundational aspect of right relationship with Mother Earth. We live via the in-breath and out-breath…by giving and receiving in many ways, on many levels.
First, a BIG THANK YOU to all who donated last year. Your gifts allowed us to take an important step in expanding the number of people the Sunray Peace Village can welcome to our annual PeaceFest, Elders and Youth Gathering, and other events, as well as personal retreats.
This year your support will take us even further. Purchasing 3 more glamping tents, outfitted with beds, lights, and heaters will both increase and improve the housing for our Indigenous Elders when they visit to share their wisdom. This comfortable housing will also welcome people coming for retreat and study of the Ywahoo Lineage and Buddhist Lineage teachings on this sacred land.
Our goal for 2023 Giving Tuesday is to raise $11,199 to increase our housing and storage capacity. Sunray will preserve your investment during Vermont’s winter season by storing this valuable equipment in a sturdy cargo container.

As Giving Tuesday draws closer, I wanted to share with you an organization that I believe brings light into the lives of people across the globe and with which I have experienced teachings that continue to impact my life and relationships in wonderful ways. Together, our generosity on Giving Tuesday will enhance the work of Sunray Meditation Society.
Sunray Meditation Society is an international spiritual organization dedicated to planetary peace. Its mission is to preserve and share the teachings of the Peacemaker from the Tsalagi (Cherokee) spiritual traditions and the teachings of peacemaking from Tibetan Buddhism. The Sunray Peace Village is a sanctuary and place for sacred teachings, ceremony, contemplation, communion with nature and building the skills of peacemaking. Sunray is an accredited non-governmental organization (NGO) in association with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (DGC). We consult specifically on issues of importance to Indigenous peoples.
Indigenous peoples have always understood how to live in harmony with their homeland. Now people around the world are calling out for such teachings. Sunray can and does respond to that call.
This year the funds raised from now through Giving Tuesday will be used to expand Sunray’s capacity to introduce people to the sacred land of Sunray Peace Village. All are welcome to attend our monthly ceremonies, annual Native American Elders’ Gathering, Peacekeeper teachings, Buddhist teachings and for personal spiritual retreat.
