Under the guidance of Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo, we celebrate the beginning of the Lunar New Year, when the intention for the world’s first creation first went out. This midwinter ceremony sets the pace for the entire lunar cycle and without this ceremony, there is no harvest. The Ceremony embodies clear intention, planting seeds of good cause that the community may be ever in good relations.
Tibetan Losar, beginning Feb. 12 is the first day of the Metal Ox. Losar continues with celebration through Feb. 14 and will be celebrated during the Fires. Losar means New Year -LO means year in Tibetan and SAR means new. Losar Bey Tashi Delek is a common greeting during the Tibetan New Year. The benefits of shared recitation will be offered for the welfare and benefit of all sentient beings.
All are welcome to join via zoom
