Drupon Thinley and Virginia Blum Return to Sunray Peace Village

July 31–August 2, 2026

Drupon Thinley

This summer, Sunray welcomes Drupon Thinley Ningpo Rinpoche and Virginia Blum from the Drong Ngur Janchubling Buddhist Centre (Tampa, Florida) for a weekend retreat presented by the Drikung Dzogchen Community of Vermont.

Known for his warmth, clarity, and ability to bring profound teachings into everyday experience, Drupon Thinley returns to guide participants in meditation and contemplation rooted in the Drikung Kagyu and Dzogchen traditions.

Virginia Blum, is a longtime practitioner and translator in the Drikung Kagyu lineage. Working closely with Drupon Thinley, she plays an essential role in making the teachings accessible through precise translation and embodied understanding.

Whether you are new to Buddhist practice or have been walking the path for many years, this retreat offers a chance to cultivate greater presence, compassion, and confidence in the awakened nature of mind.

We hope you will join us for this special weekend of teachings and practice at Sunray Peace Village.
