On Earth Day this year, April 22, 2021, His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang invited all Drikung Kagyu Centers and its members to go beyond prayers by making a single pledge of action for one year to protect the environment and our home called planet Earth.
Under the guidance of Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo, Pema Sangdzin Khandro: Sunray Meditation Society’s pledge and action plan includes the continuation of our global Peacekeeper teachings and community as well as Sunray’s non-governmental organization at the United Nations, both of which are engaged in regular practice and advocacy around protection of clean water and making prayers for all communities, especially marginalized communities around the world to have access to clean water and protection of those water resources from privatization.
