HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE COMING EARTH CHANGES IN 2024 IN PRACTICAL WAYS

You’re invited to join us online for a workshop where Grandfather Mike Bastine and Grandfather John Volpe will be sharing about Earth changes having to do with the Solar Eclipse which is predicted to happen April 8, 2024. This total Eclipse will be happening in the Northeast United States and is occurring at the end of a solar cycle.
Scientists have tracked solar cycles only for 300 years but have noticed anomalies with crops and growing seasons, as well as the shutting down of the electric grid during such changes when our usual infrastructure does not function—affecting all areas of life and work. From their deep wisdom, Grandfathers Mike and John will facilitate this coming together to help us discern how we may act to benefit ourselves and others going forward while we still have time to prepare.
They will help us prepare for these changes and other extreme weather in very practical ways—such as suggesting that we practice what it is like to shut the main power off for 24 hours so that we have experienced and problem-solved for a time when perhaps no freezer, refrigerator, water, lights, etc., are available to us for longer periods of time. etc. What can we do in anticipation if the power does not come back on right away?
In this workshop, they will give examples as to how they have prepared. Participants will meet in break out rooms to share ideas and then reconvene in the main zoom room.
This way we can replace fear, panic, and lack of knowledge with activities that will help us through this situation. These wise grandfathers will encourage us also to connect with family, friends, and neighbors to band together to meet these challenges. Each one of us has talents and gifts to join with others to care and meet these challenges.
Grandfather Mike is a member of the Algonquin nation, and member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation of Ontario, a member of the Bear Clan, a healer a Naturalist, and former student of famous Tuscarora medicine man Wallace “Mad Bear” Anderson and Tuscarora healer, Ted Williams. He lives in South Wales, New York. He is co-author of the book: Iroquois Supernatural: Talking Animals and Medicine People and co-author of “Birds Through Indigenous Eyes” to be released Soon by Princeton University Press. Gf Mike is known widely for his talks at universities and gatherings where he shares the diversity of culture to convey to all humans how it is time to remember our “Original Instructions” as to how to live together in harmony on Mother Earth. He is carrying on teachings that were handed down from Mad Bear Anderson who wanted to unify and prepare all humans for developing a higher consciousness to do so.
Grandfather John Volpe is a Naturalist and Taxidermist of Ojibwe descent and a member of the Nipissing First Nation of Ontario. He is co-author of “Birds through Indigenous Eyes” to be released soon by Princeton University Press. GF John is a Caregiver who knows how to steward Mother Earth and our animal relatives—especially for turtles and other animals that are injured on highways.
