The Salmon Way Workshop

The Salmon Way: Raising Awareness

And Offering Peacemaking through the Waters of Life

New Date: March 25, 2023

*Early bird prices until March 15*

The ancient Mayans believed that time is circular, not linear, and moves in cycles which resonate with our daily, planetary, and cosmic lives. The salmon teach us the same thing…Why does this matter? How can we apply this to our everyday personal, family, community, and professional lives? How do we cultivate peace in our hearts to act in peaceful ways at a time when our planet seems so divided? What can we learn from the salmon?

Come join Jordi Palou-Loverdos, international lawyer and mediator, and member of the Sunray White Horse Society of lawyers, and peacemakers. Inspired by the salmon, he has created “The Salmon Way” to help him join with others globally to transform conflict in areas such as Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Iran, Morocco, and Colombia. More recently, Jordi has worked with the “Being In Peace Initiative,” facilitating international and national dialog, focusing on the pandemic situation, and social and political conflict in Catalonia/Spain. Jordi will facilitate our bringing to light our individual and collective “shadows” that we project on to individuals and collectives in the form of polarity, conflict and otherness. He will then show us a way of addressing them individually and in facilitating small group dialog. When you register, you will receive materials to prepare yourself for this workshop.

In this 5 hour online workshop, on Zoom, through attuning with meditation, contemplation, as well as dialog, enhanced with images, and other materials, Jordi will share practical applications which the salmon have taught him. Participants will learn a specific method of facilitating deep dialog with individuals and groups–– involving three connected phases. Depending on the size of the group, we will meet in one large group, or we will meet in smaller groups in Break Out Rooms to explore this together. Then re-unite in the main group to share what we have learned. Come join us! Let’s dive together into this journey through the waters of Life!

  • To become aware of the vital moment in which we find ourselves, both at the individual, collective and planetary levels.
  • To transform struggles into dances (mental aikido),
  • To move from duality to tri-unity in concrete situations,
  • To facilitate quality dialogues in small groups of up to 20 people, with a simple three-phase methodology (BIP®).
  • To see in the situations we live an invitation to the transformation from Daemon (in Greek, to split, divide or separate) to Diamond (the illuminating unity inside out).
